“Some students may be dissatisfied with the marks they will get through alternative assessment. While announcing the cancellation of the exam, chief minister Naveen Patnaik had said those who are not happy with the marks can appear for the offline exam when the Covid situation improves,” Dash said.
As many as 3.5 lakh students in arts, science, commerce and vocational studies will get their marks based on their Class results through an assessment method developed by the council.

The higher secondary schools are uploading the practical marks of students for evaluation. The council has asked students with subjects like Indian music, drama and musical instruments to prepare audio and video clips of 3-5 minutes duration and submit it to the subject teachers. While awarding marks in these practical papers, the clippings submitted by the students shall be taken into consideration in lieu of practical records, an official said.
