The Government of Goa in 1986 created Directorate of Technical Education to Facilitate new Technical Education institutions and courses in the State of Goa. Facilitate Technician Education through the Board of Technical Education, in the State of Goa. Facilitate centralized admission to technical and professional institutes to the students of the State of Goa. Prepare Budget, distribute funds for Technical Education, in the State.
About GCET :-
The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa will conduct Goa Common Entrance Test 2021 (GCET) for admissions to Professional Degree courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homeopathy, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing (at Institute of Nursing Education)in the State of Goa, for the academic year 2021-22. Admissions to Degree course in Architecture shall be on the basis of NATA.
About Exam :-
Interested and desirous candidates who wants to take admission in Academic Session 2021 of colleges in State of Goa, so they are going to be a part of this entrance examination. As we all know, this is not a simple game to chase an entrance test, as standard of competition level is going upwards day per day, now its become tough to crack the nut of any entrance test and achieve a better score. So, aspirants must know that what stuff will they face in their exam. Now, here we are providing latest and prescribed syllabus and pattern of questions for Goa CET 2021.
Exam Pattern :–
Pattern of Goa Common Entrance Test 2021 is as follows :-
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions to be answered in two hours. (One hundred & twenty minutes).
► Correct answer shall carry one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answers.

Admit Card :-
Candidates who applied for the GCET entrance test are waiting for their admit card. It will be published soon on website www.dtegoa.gov.in, Or candidates may download their admit cards from our website. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the GCET website for more information regarding admit cards and other details.

How to Get Admit Card :-
- Visit the designated center of Directorate of Technical Education, Goa
- You need to submit your application form in person
- Collect your “Photo Admit Card” on the same day of submitting the application form
- Check All the details printed on the admit card are correct or not
Candidates must produce ‘Photo Admit Cards’ for appearing in the test at the designated centre. Candidates shall be seated in the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the paper.
Merit List :-
The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2021 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates who have secured at least 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC, & 45% for PH in MBBS and BDS course) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at GCET- 2021 shall be considered for merit list for MBBS and BDS. There shall be no minimum marks for BHMS, AHS & Nursing. For Engineering courses, The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2021 in the subjects of Physics and Mathematics. For Pharmacy Courses The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks scored at GCET-2021 in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.
For bachelor of architecture, The merit list shall be based on an aggregate of marks obtained in NATA and the aggregate marks obtained at the qualifying examination (HSSC/Diploma) added in the ratio of 1:1 with 50% weightage each for NATA score aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
Note: Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator. is NOT PERMITTED in EXAM Materials like log table, book, notebook, should NOT be brought into the examination hall.
